CBRE assists Next in connection to the opening of a retail store on the pedestrian street ‘Strøget’ in Copenhagen

The English fashion brand Next is opening a new retail store later in 2009, located on the pedestrian street ‘Strøget’ in Copenhagen. Next is one of the most popular clothing brands in Great Britain with more than 500 shops.

Next has taken over TDC’s retail store on ‘Strøget’, 1-3 Nygade in Copenhagen. At the same time TDC relocated to another location on ‘Strøget’, 4 Nygade. Next expects the opening of the new retail store to tale place during November after a radical refurbishment of the premises.

In addition, Next is also opening a retail store in Hundige Shopping centre. The grand opening will be on 29 October 2009 in connection with a large expansion of the shopping centre.

Next currently has a retail store in Fields Shopping centre in Ørestad City. Following these 2 openings, Next will be represented with a total of 3 stores in the Capital Region of Denmark.

At the same time, Next has entered into an agreement regarding 2 new retail stores in Sweden. On 17 September one opening took place in the Entré Shopping centre in Malmö and in November the other opening will take place in Kista Galleria in Stockholm.

CB Richard Ellis has also assisted Next in Austria in connection with an agreement regarding the opening of their first retail store in the leading shopping centre, Shopping City Süd, in Vienna.
