CB Richard Ellis has handled the sale of the former head office building of Boligforeningen Fagbo, housing association.

Augustenborggade 2, 8000 Århus C.

The purchaser is a private investor of Aarhus, who plans to have the property refurbished and fitted out as clinic and for fitness purposes.
The building was originally a water tower, which was built by Danish State Railways in 1924/25, and it is of historical value. The water tower supplied Danish State Railways’ steam engines with water until the 1950s’ when diesel locomotives were introduced. However, due to sabotage activities at the end of the Second World War the water supply was interrupted for a period. In 1991 Boligforeningen Fagbo took over the water tower, and at the same time they built an extension to be used for office purposes.
The total floor space of the building is 916 sq m. The property comprises also 20 parking spaces.
